Felted Sky Needle Felting Kit: Christmas Ornaments
This beginner needle felting project produces three very sweet ornaments. The perfect addition to your DIY holiday decor whether hung on a tree or garland or displayed in a bowl. This is an excellent project to try out if you are wanting to learn to sculpt with wool. Kit includes everything needed to make three ornaments as shown (except a scissors and mat to work on).
Felting time: about 1 hr. per ornament depending on individual felting speed.
Kit is beautifully packaged and includes:
- Beginner's Guide to Needle Felting (a bit of general information)
- Instruction Sheet with pictures of every step
- Link to video instructions (highly recommended!)
- Four color-coded felting needles in a handy paper tube
- Three types of felting wool
- String
- Sewing needle
Not included:
A scissors to cut the string and a mat to use as a work surface. Choose from foam, burlap, or wool. Once you have a mat, it can be used for many projects (note that foam is the most economical but wears out the fastest). Mats can be found here:
