FCN Textiles : Summer French Tweed - White and Blue
This beautifully textural woven tweed fabric was created by textile house that weaves the fabric for the iconic Chanel jacket. White/off white ground has lines of navy and flecks of light blue, pink and mint green woven in. Because it is a relatively loosly woven fabric, we recommend a lining. Excellent for skirts, dresses, and, of course, your very own tailored jacket.
For several years now FCN textiles has enriched its traditional brocade fabric range by offering light tweeds. Combining fine chain yarns and fancy weft fibers to obtain suppleness, character and elegance. As a pioneer in this field, they are constantly renewing this creative exercise to highlight a complex structure of materials and trendy colors. A slub yarn gives way to a silver tricotine, a spangled yarn emphasizes a hairier fiber.
