Merchant & Mills Fabric : Indian Cotton - Monochrome Hopscotch
Absolutely gorgeous block print made in Jaipur, India. Traditional hand block and dye techniques are used to make this wonderful rural cloth. As it is hand-printed, there will probably be some delightful irregularities is the print. This is a lightweight cotton, and would be stunning in a summer dress, shirt or blouse, swishy skirt, pillows, and linings.
This fabric has a 3 meter repeat. All patterns are shown (some on the reverse side), but we can't make any guarantees as to which pattern you'll receive.
For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running, however Indigo will continue to get lighter over time as it will never truly fix.
