Oliver + S Patterns : Cartwheel Wrap Dress

This girls' dress slips over the head and fastens both in front and back for a fun twist on the wrap dress. The A-line skirt has lots of flare for spinning and includes an extra panel for full coverage. Details include built-in cap sleeves and a back keyhole opening with a simple button/loop closure. Choose to tie the dress in front (View A) or in back (View B). The dress is easy to sew because it doesn't have buttonholes or zippers, and the construction method is unique and fun.

This pattern is for Girls' sizes 6 mo. - 12 yrs

Recommended Fabric: light- to medium-weight woven fabrics like quilting cotton, voile, lawn, shirting, poplin, broadcloth, and linen.

44" fabric : 1 3/4 - 2 1/4 yds (sizes 6 mo. - 3T); 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 yds (sizes 4 - 6); 3 - 3 1/2 yds (sizes 7 - 12)
58" fabric : 1 1/2 - 2 yds (sizes 6 mo. - 3T); 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 yds (sizes 4 - 7); 2 3/4 - 3 1/4 yds (sizes 8 - 12)
