Children's Corner Patterns : Mattie

Mattie is a pull-over top designed to be made out of knit fabric. It has both long and short sleeves finished with a lettuce edge ruffle. The shirt back has a short opening finished with a modified continuous bound placket and two buttons. The neck edge is finished with a bias band a a lettuce edge ruffle that substitutes for a collar. If desired, ruffles may be omitted. If ruffle is not used at sleeve edge, cut sleeves 1" longer and use a 1/2" hem allowance. This pattern is for sizes 1 - 10.

Short Sleeve
Sizes 1 - 4 : 1/2 yd
Sizes 5 - 10 : 5/8 - 1 yd

Long Sleeve
Sizes 1 - 4 : 1/2 - 5/8 yd
Sizes 5 - 10 : 3/4 - 1 yd
