Debbie Fabric lace lingerie Patterns stretchy material

I’ve been on a bit of a bra kick lately. I’ve been fiddling with it, and I think I’ve gotten the fit close enough that I decided it was time to make the bra that I’ve had burned into my brain for months: a lacy longline. Here it is!

Isn’t it lovely? The ivory lace is underlined with a champagne sateen batiste in the lower cups and band. The back band is made with our black ponti di roma, and the straps are black batiste. I forgot to take a picture of the backside! The inside looks really nice too, rats. I finished all the seams with bias tape I made from the black batiste, and inserted a little bit of boning into the side seams. The inside is beautiful, trust me.

And then I thought, this is such a nice bra, why not make myself matching panties? So I did!

These are, once again, OhhhLulu Grace Panties. In fact, nearly all of my underwear is this pattern! I just love it! I’ve made these with the ponti di roma before, and because it doesn’t have ton of stretch in it, they’re a little to tight. Luckily we’ve got a new black rayon jersey in, so I used that for the side panels.

And now I’ve got myself a lovely lingerie set!
