Quilting Cotton

Quilting cotton (or quilt-weight cotton) is a medium-weight, long-staple, 100% cotton fabric that is colorfast during washing and can be used for a variety of projects - not just quilting.

Here at Bolt & Spool, we choose to stock only the highest quality brands which take care to print designs on the grain and which have high thread counts - making them as lovely for constructing apparel as they are for creating home-goods and accessories.

We are happy to offer organic fabric as well as fabrics which were printed using environmentally-friendly dyes. Look for organic and/or Oeko-tex certification on our descriptions.
