Liberty of London Tana Lawn - Palampore B
Liberty Fabric is lustrously detailed and rich in colour – printed in Liberty’s Italian fabric mill, on our inimitable Tana Lawn cotton.
Palampore is based on an archival Liberty furnishing fabric sample that dates from the 1880s. Laid out in neat ogee floral trail, it is made up of a variety of small stylised blooms such as roses and carnations. Tana Lawn cotton is a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century. Printed in our very own cutting-edge Liberty fabric mill, located between Milan and Lake Como in northern Italy, Tana Lawn realises unmatchable fluidity with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking colour vibrancy. Use Tana Lawn to create sleek separates, statement creations or tailored daily pieces – the possibilities are as wild as your imagination. Tana Lawn is machine washable and durable enough for daily wear.
Liberty Fabrics’ English Eccentrics collection for Spring/Summer 2019 draws inspiration from seven eclectic home-grown muses, spanning across a range of creative genres and historical periods. From a decadent prince regent to a pioneering botanist, an aristocratic poet and gardener, a carefree ‘60s musician, a contemporary artist, an activist-slash-actress and a beloved children’s author, our diverse collection of muses each reflect the adventurous and disruptive spirit of Liberty.
