Large needle eye. Flexible and warp resistant. Runs smoothly through fabric. The large needle eye is rounded to keep the yarn from breaking, making it great for woolen embroidery and finishing up knitting projects.

Cork-capped vial contains 6 round-tip needles made of nickel-plated steel.

Includes two #17 needles, one #18 needle, one #20 needle, and two # 23 needles. In general, the larger the number, the smaller the needle.

Made in Japan

The History of Hiroshima Needle production stretches back over 300 years, to when the ruling Asano Clan of Hiroshima Domain spread the practice as piecework for low-ranking samurai to support themselves. -- Read more about Hiroshima Needles on their website, it's fascinating : http://en.tulip-japan.co.jp/hiroshima/
