The Grace Top is an elegant, easy to sew top. It features a funnel neckline, racerback, and a slight high-low hem. The fit has a slight a line silhouette and a relatively loose fit. This pattern is suitable for knit fabrics with at least 25% stretch.

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is a non-profit organization that advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research. The AAUW has been around since 1881. In fact, one of its first major projects was conducting research to disprove the myth that a college education would result in infertility(!).

Fabric Requirements:
Perfect for knit fabrics of all kinds. You need at least 25% stretch. If you choose a knit with more body, like a ponte, it will have a more structured modern look. If you sew it in a drapier knit, like a rayon jersey, it will have a more romantic look.
Yardage Requirements:
- 45" wide fabric // 1 7/8 yards (1.7 metres)
- 54-60" wide fabric // 1 yard (.9 metres)
Notions: thread and a stretch or ballpoint machine needle
