Tina Givens : Candy Tunic Dress

A great beginner pattern and a simple make for anyone! Great simple detail makes this tunic dress sublime! Make it yours by adding the ruffle trim as we did, or use pom-pom trim or fringe instead. Make it Yours! 

Fabric: Body - light to medium weight fabric.

WE USED A WOVEN COTTON BY DIAMOND TEXTILES, BUT A MEDIUM LINEN, CORDUROY, COTTON TWILL, POPLIN OR QUILTING FABRIC IN A SWEET PRINT!

Trim: Lightweight cotton/linen/velvet - we used a voile solid, again you can use a cotton in something contrasting color or a print!

Or use a trim like a pompom, or any fringe. We chose the fabric because it will wash more accommodatingly. If using a trim, do not place the finished garment in the dryer!
