Private Sewing Lessons

We can all teach sewing basics, including how to use a machine (yours or ours), and how to follow a sewing pattern.

Here are our areas of expertise : 

Celia - fitting and alterations, pattern alterations, pattern drafting, draping

Debbie - sewing techniques (zipper insertion, seam finishes, collars, etc), basic leatherwork

Nan - embroidery and handstitching, mending, serger fundamentals

We mostly sew clothing; if you are looking for quilting lessons, we can help you with piecing or try to recommend other instructors outside the shop.
