We’ve got new fabric! Nan and I met with a fabric rep from Michael Miller a couple weeks ago, and the first shipment just came in yesterday!
You can view all of our new fabrics in our online store (or in the shop) but here are some of my favorites:
Counterclockwise from the top are Triplet, Leaf, Mirror Ball Dot, and a solid in Indigo. The indigo looks almost black, it’s such a deep hue. It doesn’t seem to photograph well, but it’s such a rich dye with a beautiful sheen.
Here are some more:
From left to right are petit point, and two solids – sun and teal.
We have some really fun prints that resemble quilting cotton, although this fabric has much better drape than any other quilting cotton we carry, so it would function very well in apparel as well.
We also received two awesome coated cottons.
These are Party Dress and La Tour Eiffel.
You know what these will be great for? Our upcoming French Cartonnage Class! We’re going to make oilcloth-covered notepads. It will be Saturday, December 7 from 10am to noon.
Don’t forget to support local businesses on Small Business Saturday!
