View A - mid to heavyweight non-stretch wovens with structure, such as canvas, twill, denim, corduroy, or wool
View B - For a quick and easy make, choose a pre-quilted  fabric or substantial jacquard, brocade, or similarly beefy fabric that holds its shape without a batting layer.
To create a quilted jacket, you will need : 
- Outer and Inner Layer - light to midweight woven fabric such as cotton poplin, lawn, voile, chambray and broadcloth, or linen. Drapey fabrics are not recommended.
- Middle Batting Layer - quilt batting in cotton, wool, or bamboo
