Private Sewing Lesson with Celia: 60 minutes

One hour sewing lessons are $50 for one person and $25 for each additional student.

Minimum age is 8 years old AND the student must have the ability to read, measure and use scissors well. We have Bernina sewing machines at our shop for use, or you may bring your own machine. 

Lessons are student-driven and usually project-based, but can be focused entirely on techniques. It's private, so it's up to you!

Sewing patterns and fabric can be purchased in-store before or during your lesson if you need help choosing a project and materials. **If you bring your own, the fabric must be washed or otherwise new, CLEAN and free of moths and odors if using vintage or upcycling garments or textiles.**

Please note: Once you have booked and paid for online for your lesson, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. You will also receive an e-mail reminder 24 hours in advance of your lesson. Cancellations and rescheduling needs to be made 12 hours in advance for a full refund.

Hello, my name is Celia! I have been sewing for about 12 years and have a degree in Fashion Design from Kent State University. My Grandma was a seamstress and inspired me to take up sewing as a hobby. Sewing has since turned into a creative outlet for me and has become an important part of my life. I’m excited to teach others this art form and the joy that comes with it. I look forward to meeting you!
